Saturday morning inspiration

It is a beautiful Saturday morning! The sun was shining brightly in the dining room window so I sat down at the table and put this together. Sometimes ideas come when you aren't planning for them....

Kari

I was blessed with becoming an Auntie to my beautiful niece Kari when I was 13 years old. Right at that moment there was a bond that was magnetic....the kind that doesn't have to be explained, it just "was". We shared a very special connection.

My niece Kari was a strong spirit who had a kind warm heart and a smile that beamed from ear to ear. It was genuine like it was genuine to care about everyone she knew.

I say "was" because she has left this earth and is now a beautiful and magnificent butterfly. She is fluttering in the wind spreading love and compassion wherever it may take her...smiling as she goes...

Kari was very creative and made beautiful bead jewellry. Her mother; my sister, gave me her beading supplies as she knew I would "do good" with them.

The very first neclace I made turned out perfect..I know Kari is guiding me and I feel blessed to be able to do something which keeps me connected to her spirit and to be able to share the love, compassion and caring.

Pink and butterflies were her favorites! Kari is my inspiration and together we will attempt to share all that they symbolize.
